Finally! After five years in the wait since The Strokes’ last album First Impressions of Earth, we have found a sense of satisfaction again for our ears. The new single, Under Cover of Darkness, has the great Strokes garage feel to it with uplifting chorus. The Strokes’ upcoming album Angles promises as much as the new single, then the five year wait might as well has been worth it.

The Strokes’ rhythm and lead guitars has always provided great intros and solos and it is really good to finally hear Julian Casablancas’ voice back with actual good rhythms instead of the highly disappointed solo album he provided last year.

Bravo Strokes! Bravo! Give Under Cover of Darkness a listen by streaming it below or by going on The Strokes youtube page. Let’s just hope for more from Angles!
