With Christmas right around the corner, millions of American’s are already planning for the best shopping day of the year. It’s Black Friday and this year in some stores the sales are starting earlier than ever. So get prepared for the commotion and chaos of the super shoppers with this list of do’s and don’ts of Black Friday.
DO pre-plan your shopping trip. Check out sales online before you head out, know your budget and make a list.
DON’T rush out and buy the first “deal” you see. There might be something better at the next stop.
DO wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You will be walking around shopping malls and department stores for hours and waiting in lines for quite a while. You don’t want to have to leave early because of your jeans being too tight or your feet hurting.
DON’T only shop for yourself. It is going to be great deals and definitely treat your self to something nice, but with everything on sale now is the perfect time to pick up your holiday gifts for friends ad family!
DO head out early for those big and limited items, if it’s something you really want mostly likely someone else out there does too, make sure you get to the stores before they run out!
DON’T push and fight with other shoppers. In past years on the news, we saw people getting shoved to the floor and people fighting over the last item. Getting in a fight and hurting yourself or others is not worth that sale price!
DO bring a friend. Everyone likes having a shopping buddy but be sure to carpool if you do want to shop with someone at the malls, this will save the search for multiple parking spots too.
DON’T rely only on pre-leaked shopping ads on one website, be sure to check out all the ads ahead of time.
So get ready by gassing up you car before heading out, mapping out your shopping adventures and make sure to keep track of your purchases and stay safe!
Happy shopping!
