Queensland Flood Appeal Fundraiser!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USC (AU) chapter.

It was a hell of a day for the girls of Her Campus USC AU! HC Campus Correspondent and Editor of HC USC AU, Jasmin Maastricht (that’s me!) and staff writer, Michaela Hewitt held up a stall in front of the Co-Op Bookshop selling HC swag  to help raise money for the Queensland Flood Appeal.

If you saw this sign around campus, we saw you at the stall!

The stall ran between 10am and 2pm and just over $100 has been raised so far.

Michaela Hewitt said Her Campus USC AU will be holding another stall in the next couple of months, but this time it will be a bake sale, still raising money and selling HC gear. So you haven’t missed out!

“We will probably have it (the bake sale) around the end of semester,” Michaela said.

After much signage around campus, many students flocked to the stall!

A group of international students came around to the stall to see what was on offer! Trying on the signature Her Campus sunglasses, they were all very happy with their purchases. The HC sunnies were the hit of the day!
