6 Must-Haves for your Autumn Closet

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USC (AU) chapter.

Autumn is only just around the corner now and we all need to get out shopping into gear! Here’s six things you must have for your 2014 autumn closet.

1. A Cute Jumper

This sweet-as rainbow crop jumper from Misguided is perfect for transiting your summer closet to an autumn one! Pair it with frayed shorts shorts or with a cute pair of washed out jeans and sneakers.

2. The Jumpsuit

This cute-as mono chrome jumpsuit from Ally is perfect for autumn! Just pair with a cute black cardie if you get cold and add some cute accessories and flats to complete the look.

3. The Playsuit

Every girl needs a Playsuit in their closet! For autumn try this cute long sleeved checkered Playsuit from Misguided. Just pair with ankle boots, a wide brimmed hat and few accessories!

4. The Hat

This gorgeous hat from Beginning Boutique is the only hat you have to wear this autumn. Sure it gets cold here in Queensland but it still gets sunny and we still need to protect ourselves from the sun… While looking stylish at the same time!

5. The Pop Heel

Just cuz summer is coming to an end doesn’t mean we shouldn’t dress in cute bright colours! This seasons hottest new shoe is the Pop Heel, a bright coloured heel paired with neutral or dark colours. Check out these out-of-this-world neon yellow heels from Lucy In The Sky!

6. The Jacket

So autumn doesn’t get so cold in Queensland but we will need to keep warm. Why not try this pin-stripe military jacket from Princess Polly? You can also get it in in black! Pair this with a cute dress and sneakers.
