Behind the Scenes: “Welcome To The Runway” Fashion Show

This past Sunday Her Campus had the opportunity to go behind scenes at Chicago’s very own “Welcome To The Runway Fashion Show”. Our Campus editor Candice Doh, a part time model, takes us on this journey backstage.

Bella Lucci Modeling Agency & School, hosted a photoshoot for the Illinois Model Network and also the Chicago’s “Welcome To The Runway Fashion Show”.
Behind the Scenes of The Welcome To The Runway Fashion Show, Candace Doh had the opportunity to speak with Juam May & Bella Lucci minutes before their fashion show Sunday night (Jan. 20th) !

Designers Juam May and Bella Lucci have been designing some of Chicago’s most fashion forward collections for over 30 years. Apart from designing, Mr. Lucci also is the CEO of the popular Illinois Modeling Network.

When asked what big things were planned for 2013, Mr. May shared that he hopes to start a school for aspiring designers in Chicago. They also hope to ultimately change runway & maximize the many talents of the Chicago fashion community!
