Jade is one of my sorority sisters at Alpha Gamma Delta. When I first met her, I was instantly drawn to her laid back nature and ability to make the people around her feel comfortable and at ease. That said, she is still incredibly ambitious and an all around impressive person. I am still enjoying getting to know her, and am certain you will too.

How you chose your major: I have played sports my entire life and wanted to stay involved in university in some form. I want to pursue either physio or education and Kinesiology gives me the opportunity to do both.
Why you chose UBC: Growing up in Vancouver I was always aware of UBC – it just seemed like a good fit when I was graduating from high school and looking at post-secondary schools.
Favourite class you’ve taken: Probably Kin 303
Least favourite class: There have been a few that I have not enjoyed.
Favourite sport to play: Ice hockey

Why you decided to join a sorority at UBC: I was drawn to joining a sorority because it seemed like a really great way to get involved in things on campus that I generally would not have thought of doing.
A memory that stands out to you from AGD: Probably the simple stuff – just hanging out with some of my sisters, getting coffee or dinner. Those are my favorite memories.

Next place you want to travel to: There are so many to choose from! Probably Australia but I would be stoked to go anywhere.
What you’re most looking forward to this semester: Getting involved in more rec sports and doing more events on campus!
First word that comes to mind when you hear “Vancouver”: probably rain and sushi.
Your favourite thing about Autumn: the weather! Minus the constant rain. I really enjoy the cold air and general feeling of fall.
Goals for this year: to win a rec champ shirt! And to improve my GPA.
Go to outfit for class: Some form of athletic wear – all about comfort!
