This week was cut short due to Martin Luther King Jr. holiday and a closed campus due to weather, but here are a few upcoming events you can still look forward to! 

January 19, 2018 – University Programs Board Film Series

UPB will be showing It on Friday, January 19 at 7pm in the Hill Alumni Theater. This is a great time to hangout with friends on a budget. Admission is free for UAB students and staff with a One Card. If you want to bring other friends along it only costs $5! Please enter the theater on the 2nd floor across from the bookstore. 

January 20, 2018 – NPHC Greek Speak 

Interested in greek life? Head over to the Spring 2018 NPHC Greek Speak event on Saturday, January 20 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Members from the National Pan-Hellenic Council will provide information to interested students and you will have the opportunity to ask questions about Greek life at UAB. Attendance is required for any student who wishes to participate in membership intake for any NPHC organization for the Spring 2018 semester.

January 27, 2018- Ever Faithful 5K 

If you’re looking to get active this semester here’s a great opportunity. The Ever Faithful 5K Fun Run takes place on Saturday, January 27 from 10:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. The route begins at Bartow Arena and ends at the rotary trail. Registration is available online! Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for youth, UAB students and staff. The price covers tickets to the basketball game later that night, a long sleeve t-shirt, a post-run party, and meet and greet with the team! Make sure you keep an eye on the weather to dress appropriately!
