This week’s campus cutie goes to French senior golfer: Joel Stalter
Stalter hails from Amneville, France where he attended INDP High School. While in high school, Stalter besides being a fantastic golfer was also a gymnast. In 2010, Stalter joined the Cal Bear Golf team as a newly admitted freshmen.Â

Throughout his career here at CAL, Stalter has achieved some major awards and honors. He received the All-West Region award, the All-Pac-12 award, and was placed number 49 on the R&A world ranking.Â

Besides playing golf for the Golden Bears, Stalter is also a golf member of the French National team. Incroyable!! (French for amazing)

Currently, Stalter is majoring in business in Cal’s Haas School of Business. Â He stated that the reason he chose Cal is because he wanted to balance school and golf all at the same time while still getting a great educationÂ

On why he loves golf: “it is the most exciting and complicated game, and it’s also very challenging and always provides me with the aspiration to get better”.
