If you are anything like me, you hate studying in the library. Talk about the ultimate distraction. I know it might be weird to consider the library to be full of distractions, but to me it is and especially during finals.  At my three years here, I have found five places to study other than Club Mullins.

1: The Law Library

Yes you will get stared at for not being a law student, but you can still go there.

Why? There is an Arsaga’s in the Law Library! Yes Please! Not only is there great coffee and food at your disposal, but there is legitimately peace and quiet there. I highly suggest this place when you are struggling to concentrate in Mullins.

2: The Law Library Courtyard

I clearly like the Law Library! Studying outside can be the route for some students and the courtyard is perfect to do that in complete serenity. Not many people go to this area and it allows you focus!

3: Fayetteville Public Library

If you have not discovered this place, please do as soon as possible. It is a must to visit this place for finals. It is very clean, huge and a getaway from campus and your apartment/residence hall. The best part is that it is not crowded with so many students. No more fighting for tables during finals week! HALLELUJAH!

4: Common Grounds

The first rule if you study here is not to stuff your face with all the delicious food on the menu. This is a best place to crack open the books and also get your caffeine fix. The combination of calm music and dim lighting can take your stress away and ease your studying. This place is a must!

5: Enhanced Learning Center

If you went this far in school without knowing we have a tutoring center on campus, it is okay! Utilize this tutoring center!  First, schedule an appointment ahead of time for a specific subject. To better grasp a concept in a class it might be easier to have someone who is very knowledgeable about the subject to teach you! Also, the ELC has a computer lab and study areas if you do not want to be in a tutoring session. P.S. the tutoring is FREE!

Well good luck with finals… I know it feels like the world is crashing down, but you will rock it!
