Shopping at Trader Joe’s As Told By New Girl

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

The best day of the week has arrived…

Trader Joe’s shopping day

You walk in completely overwhelmed by all the amazing food

THERE ARE TOO MANY CHOICES

Do I want crunchy almond butter, smooth almond butter, peanut butter, salted or unsalted, cookie butter, cashew butter?

Then you discover the amazing Trader Joe’s hummus, quinoa chips, dried fruit, and trail mixes

You force yourself to resist throwing everything into your shopping cart, knowing that it will be a failed effort

Free samples? Yes, please.

The chocolate aisle has been spotted

Chocolate covered almonds, chocolate covered pomegranate seeds, dark chocolate caramels…

Naturally, it all goes in your shopping cart because you can’t decide

Eventually you make it to the check-out line and your cart is overflowing and everyone is staring at you

You finally make it out in one piece—exhausted, exhilarated, and already preparing yourself for next week
