There are always those days where you either forgot to set your alarm, slept through it, or pressed the snooze button unconsciously, with any excuse, in the end, you’re running extremely late. What do you do, you only have minutes to get ready. How do you do your make-up in seconds with it looking good and not being late to work or class? I’m going tell you what to do!!!
First, there are five essential makeup items that you need: powder, blush, mascara, lipstick, and perfume!
After washing your face and putting on some SPF moisturizer, blot on your powder onto those trouble areas that tend to shine due to excess oil, normally your nose and T-zone. My favorite is powder to use is Urban Decay or Smashbox!! Put the powder on with a Kabuki brush, it’s the best way to have an overall application without the makeup looking “caked” on!
Next lightly dust some blush on your cheeks with the same Kabuki brush. Blush comes in a variety of colors, it is best to first go to a makeup counter as test out which looks best on you and then going to the cosmetic store to finally purchase it!
Add some mascara to your lashes! Putting on mascara can be a real art. The best way to apply, with whatever shape brush you have, it to sweep the brush right and left at the base of your lashes and then twisting the brush towards your eye moving up to the top of your lashes. Put two coats on each eye, top and bottom!! I have been using two mascaras, a different type for each coat. I use Maybelline volume for the first, and then my water proof Dior for the second!
Finally put on either a light red or pink lipstick or lip stain that will last all day long! I wear the new Le Rouge color set from Chanel! One coat in the morning lasts me all the way until mid afternoon!
Before you go out the door don’t forget to spritz a bit of your perfume on, and you are good to go! The hottest scent I’ve worn and receive at least one compliment a day is Coco mademoiselle Chanel Perfume!! My second favorite is Burberry Britt!!!
