Hello fashionistas!

Let’s talk tights! Ditch your jeans and leggings this winter and pick up a cute pair of flirty tights instead! By wearing tights this winter, you can stay fashionable, continue to wear your favorite dresses and skirts through the chilly weather and show off just the right amount of leg. Be inspired by some of these ideas for wearing tights this season!

Black Opaque Tights

In the winter, nothing looks more classy than an outfit with black opaque tights. These tights are timeless staples and are perfect for pairing under a little black dress or a pencil skirt. Black tights also look polished when peeking out from under a pea coat. When creating an outfit, there are endless options. A monochromatic look – black tights paired with a black skirt or dress, and maybe with a blazer – is the epitome of classy winter fashion. Or try a cute patterned skirt – houndstooth perhaps – and a layered top.

Colored Tights

You can take colored tights in any direction that you want, whether it is fun and playful or neutral and classic. However, try not to get overwhelmed by all of the color choices. Before you buy, take a look at the general color palette of the clothes you wear most often. From there, look for tights in colors that complement this palette. Simply pair these colored tights under a warm sweater-dress or bandage skirt! Another stylish look would be to use your tights to add a pop of color to a monochromatic look. Break up a palette of various grays with a deep red or olive pair of tights, for instance.

Patterned Tights

Patterned tights are an easy way to bring visual interest to your outfit. Again, your options are endless when it comes to patterns to choose from. There are leopard print tights, polka-dot tights, lacy tights and tights everywhere in between! Because patterned tights are a statement, try to minimize the patterns in the rest of your outfit so the look doesn’t get too overwhelming. Try patterned tights with a LBD and a sweater or a circular skirt and a cardigan.

Sweater Tights

We all love knitted sweaters to keep warm, so why not bring this knitted, cozy-vibe to our legs? Keep cozy this winter with sweater tights! Sweater tights are a little thicker than normal tights – perfect for that extra chilly day! They add a nice texture and dimension to your outfit. These are perfect for pairing under a sweater-dress with warm socks and tall boots! To make the look even more cozy, add a scarf and headband.

Try out tights this winter! They are stylish, practical, classy and they allow you to transition those cute dresses and skirts into winter-wear! I guarantee tights will not disappoint you! Enjoy!

Stay fashionable, Oles!
