20 Struggles Only College Women Will Understand

Hop on, collegiettes. The struggle bus has arrived.

1. Wearing the cutest outfit out and realizing you didn’t take a single picture in it the next morning

2. When people decide to crash at your place until 4 a.m.

3. Running out of toilet paper in a fraternity bathroom

4. When all your professors decide to schedule exams on the same week

5. Being late to anything that requires you to shave your legs

6. Living on a college budget

7. Reaching this point while studying for an exam

8. The lack of motivation you have as soon as you get home from class

9. When your adviser says you have to schedule an 8 a.m.

10. When your friends fail to save you from a creepy guy

11. Learning to walk in heels without looking like a baby giraffe…

12. And resisting the urge to take them off as soon as you walk outside

13. Trying to look like this at the gym…

14. When you really look more like this

15. Getting stuck behind slow people on your way to class

16. Waiting till the last minute to write a paper…

17. And realizing you aren’t going to make the minimum length requirement

18. Coping with a Netflix addiction

Rachael David is currently a senior at Penn State University and serves as the Campus Correspondent for Her Campus Penn State. She is majoring in public relations and minoring in psychology. Her love of creative writing and all things Penn State is what inspired her to become a member of the HC team in the fall of 2013. Her background experience includes working for the Undergraduate Admissions Office at Penn State as a social media intern in the spring of 2014 and is currently working as a social media intern for an internet marketing company in Harrisburg called WebpageFX. This past summer she also served as a PR intern for Tierney Communications. Rachael enjoys anything media related especially catching up on her favorite shows, including Saturday Night Live and any show on Food Network. She has a passion for food but also loves being active and spending her free time running or hiking. She hopes to gain more experience in all aspects of the media industry during college and plans on pursuing a career writing for a life & style publication in the future.
