Stalk Your Favorite Fictional Character’s House!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Pace chapter.

Have you ever wanted to be a part of the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite? Or had the mean reds and just needed to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany’s? One of the many great opportunities available for students studying in New York City is to see the filming locations of iconic films and television series. What’s even better about scoping out these locations is that it’s completely free of charge, unless you need to swipe your MetroCard. Who doesn’t love that? Below you’ll find the addresses of some of New York’s finest residents like Blair Waldorf and Holly Golightly. Grab a friend and check them out!

1. Blair Waldorf’s Apartment       Seen on the hit CW Series, Gossip Girl, is Blair Waldorf’s apartment located at 1136         5th Avenue on the Upper East Side.

2. Serena van der Woodsen’s Apartment     Also seen on the hit CW Series, Gossip Girl, is Serena van der Woodsen’s apartment      located at 300 East 55th Street in Midtown East. They not only used the outside of      the apartment for filming purposes but the lobby as well!

3. Nate Archibald’s Townhouse     Before the Archibald family of Gossip Girl found themselves in legal issues, they lived       a pretentious life in their Upper East Side townhouse located at 4 East 74th St.

4. Holly Golightly’s Townhouse     When she’s not at Tiffany’s, you can find Holly Golightly, the star of the classic film      Breakfast at Tiffany’s, at her Upper East Side townhouse located at 169 East 71st        Street.

5. Rebecca Bloomwood’s Apartment (more like Suze’s)     As any of us who have seen Confessions of a Shopaholic are aware, Rebecca      Bloomwood had much trouble paying her rent. The apartment she      shared with her best friend, Suze, is located at 256 Mott Street in Lower Manhattan.

6. Jerry Seinfeld’s Apartment     While the show Seinfeld never actually showed the real 129 West 81st St, Jerry       Seinfeld was said to live at this Upper West Side address while the actual apartment       exterior was in Los Angeles.

7. Tom Ewell’s Townhouse      Catch the exterior of this townhouse in the Marilyn Monroe classic,The Seven        Year Itch. The townhouse is located at 164 East 61st Street on the Upper East Side.

8. Monica Geller’s Apartment     Last but not least, check out the iconic apartment from the television series, Friends,      located at 90 Bedford Street in the West Village.
