Thoughts We Have While Working Out

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oneonta chapter.

Finding the time to work out in college can be tricky. However, when we do finally find the time, we wonder why we got ourselves into it.

1. What possessed me to do this to myself?

2. My body is going to hate me.

3. Okay so if I watch a 20-minute Netflix episode, that should be a sufficient amount of time on the treadmill.

4. Don’t look at the clock.

5. Time will go faster.

6. I’ll only look once.

7. I can’t wait to eat those chips waiting for me in my room.

8.     No, bad *insert name here*.

9. Do I have abs yet?

10. I mean I did only 10 sit-ups but still.

11. Don’t look at me.

12. How has it only been 5 minutes??

13. I’m pretty sure it’s been an hour.

14. It’s impossible to not spill your entire water bottle on yourself when running on the treadmill.

15. There’s a good chance my legs may fall off.

16. At least I can say I was productive with my life today.

17. Is this my sweat or my tears?

18. I look like I just went for a nice swim.

19. A minute left. You can do it.

20. Wait, no; I don’t think I’ll make it.
