Elections are over and the votes are in. Shannon Sisson is the new Station Manager at WIXQ 91.7 FM. Sisson is a Junior-year Communication – Broadcasting major and hopes to hold a similar position in radio promotions after she graduates.
She was an obvious choice considering her experience from previously held positions as the station’s Secretary and News Coordinator. Also as acting Vice President of the National Broadcasting Society Millersville Chapter, Sisson is a proven leader.
In her new position as WIXQ President, she will put her leadership skills to the test while managing over 100 DJs as well as the executive and station councils.
This is the perfect position for Shannon, who is an avid music lover!
