Spring is a beautiful season: the flowers are blooming, the trees finally bud after months of death. But for a very lucky half of the population, spring is the season of death and allergies. We don’t see flowers and trees as things of beauty; instead we see them as the organisms that spew plant sperm at us, making us miserable people with runny noses, constant sneezes, and itchy eyes. There are medications to help but it takes some time before they kick and you can walk around outside without wanting to borrow a page from Lord Voldemort.

Next time you drive anywhere with us, please keep the windows rolled up. Don’t ask us to go outside for a long period of time. We value our sanity and our wellbeing. Just be considerate of our extraordinary luck.
