HCH Body Week: Don’t Forget About Your Body

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Harvard chapter.

Hey Harvard,

You may have not noticed in this weather, but it’s mid-April. That means that final projects are here, and the rest of finals are on their way. In these crazy-busy last few weeks of school, it can be easy to totally forget your body — you sit for hours in the library, you eat exclusively at brain break, and you forget about water in a constant stream caffeinated beverages. With every ounce of your energy spent twisting and squeezing your mind, it’s easy for your body to become this awkward hindrance that malfunctions late at night. Our purpose with Her Campus Harvard’s Second Annual (yay go us we made a tradition!!) Body Week is to make sure that doesn’t happen. This week, check in to see an amazing stream of articles from women on campus who are stepping back and remembering their bodies, whether with love or with a sigh. While you may not be able to stretch out and snooze in the sun like our staff writer is doing here, you can take a minute to remember to care about your body. Screw mind over body — this week, let them be pals.
