Time to Cram: A Playlist to Keep You Pumped While Studying

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Geneseo chapter.

In this upcoming mess of finals, we all need a little inspiration to keep us motivated to keep studying. With some contribution from my friends, we put together a rocking playlist to get us through the final stretch.

1.     I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor

This song is self-explanatory, but we need to know we can get through this.

2.     Can’t Hold Us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton

Nothing can hold us back from passing these finals and getting good grades.

3.     Million Reasons by Lady Gaga

Our one reason to keep studying is to pass these finals no matter how much we want to “run for the hills.”

4.     Highway to Hell by AC/DC

At this point, we’re all getting ready to give up. We’re all going down together.

5.     Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day

At this point, if we change the month to May, we’d be all set.

6.     Shut up and Dance by Walk the Moon

Stop! We need a break. Get up and take a well-deserved dance break.

7.     Mr. Brightside by The Killers

There’s no specific reason for this song other than the fact it’s a pure jam.

8.     Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You) by Kelly Clarkson

It may feel like it, but we’re not dead yet. Clarkson says it best.

9.     Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen

We’re finally in good place. We’re pushing through this week.

10.  Another One Bites the Dust by Queen

We’re all starting to crash, but we need to pick each other back up again.

11.  Don’t Stop Believin’ By Journey

We need to believe we can get through this and get the grade we want.

Don’t stop believing everyone! We can get through this together.
