A true fashionista must look the part head to toe. Shoes are an essential part of this look. They are the cherry on top of an outfit that can take it that extra mile. But if you walk a mile in a fashionista’s shoes you will realize the pain they endure to look the way they do. Fashion and comfort do not always go hand in hand. Yet, the recent trend of stylish sneakers has blessed us ladies with the ideal combo of style and practicality.

If you already have a pair of classic Vans in your closet, you may want to upgrade to a pair from the Liberty and Vans collaboration. Liberty, a London based company, has a focus on prints that transforms traditional Vans to sneaks that really make a statement. The designs are unique and fun. You can match them with a relatively simple outfit since they speak for themselves.

On the more expensive end of fashion, Céline is catching on to the trend. Their fall, winter, and spring collections all contain chic slip on sneakers. The slip-on style makes these shoes a fast and easy choice when running out the door. The sneakers themselves incorporate other popular looks at the moment including leather and plaid. For the spring, they bring satin into the mix, so keep your eye out for that!

Superga has been around forever, so it’s about time they put a spin on them. Thanks to the fashion blog, The Man Repeller, and its successful author, Leandra Medine, comes this trendier twist. The Man Repeller has taken Superga to a dressier level with the use of tweed and velvet. The neutral colors allow us to wear these with just about anything! What’s not to love?

Steve Madden never disappoints, and this holds true for their take on sneakers. They have a slip-on sneaker in the timeless black but distinguish it in its material: pony hair. Though animal prints can be overwhelming in huge amounts, a sneaker is a perfect place to wear animal print in moderation. With a touch of leopard, you’re all set!

Say goodbye to blisters and sore feet, ladies! May you look stylish with every step you take, and always remember, if the shoe fits, buy it!
