Continuing with our education-themed week in support of #LetGirlsLearn, we chose a cutie who fits the bill perfectly. Meet Cory, an Elementary Education major here at Emmanuel, and this week’s Campus Cutie! Cory has big plans to make up for his days of being a bothersome student to his teachers by becoming a teacher himself. Read on to find out more about Cory Moore!

HCE: What’s your favorite Disney movie?
CM: Tarzan, obviously. *TWO WORLDS, ONE FAMILY*
HCE: Tell us an embarrassing story that has happen to you.
CM: One time, in high school, I kept telling this substitute teacher how much I hated my regular teacher without realizing that the substitute was my teacher’s daughter…
HCE: That’s so funny! Why do you want to be a teacher?
CM: To make up for the terrible karma I put out into the universe during my schooling. Shout out to all the teachers I terrorized in my past, y’all are survivors. Hopefully I can be as good a teacher as they were, especially since I’m sure to get a student just as terrible as I was because the universe has a sense of humor.
HCE: Where do you see yourself down the road?
CM: Hopefully rich for no reason and living in a McMansion with twelve dogs and one of those showers where the water comes straight down from the ceiling. That would be nice.
HCE: Love it! Finally, what are three words you would use to describe yourself?
CM: I’ll say recalcitrant (because I like that word but don’t actually know what it means), loud, and #blessed.
