Holly jolly, it’s Christmas time again! Advent and the countdown to the best festivity of the year are finally here: the excitement of getting the calendar and having the first chocolate is just mind-blowing. Therefore, it’s time to start thinking about one of the most fundamental parts of Christmas: FOOD. Just two words: Christmas Dinner.

What’s your favourite part of this jolly meal? Is it the thought of having some roast turkey with cranberry sauce? Is it lighting up the Christmas pudding or having mince pies with mulled wine around the tree?

The best part of a Christmas meal is SHARING. There is nothing better than spreading the Christmas love with classic traditions such as the turkey, mince pies, and, of course, crackers with our loved ones. Don’t forget to leave your phones out of the spotlight today; it’s time to taste without the Instagram picture. It’s a time to give and to give it all; we’ve been waiting all year for Santa Claus to come! Let’s get the most out of this festive season: get that Christmas dinner with your college friends or with your family. Don’t forget to use your favourite jumper, because without them it wouldn’t really be the same.

Personally, I’ll stick to the classic. There’s nothing better than roast turkey, bacon, roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and mini sausages with homemade cranberry sauce, accompanied with champagne or mulled wine and ending with a lighted Christmas pudding, to share the joy of presents and the birth of Christ while catering to your sweet tooth. Don’t forget to wear your cracker crowns; it’s all about being royals this Christmas!
