It’s only the third week into the semester and I’m suffering from senior-itis. It’s when you can’t concentrate, when the teacher’s talking she sounds like Charlie Brown’s teacher (Wah wah woh wah wah) and I’m daydreaming about sitting by my friends during the ceremony. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still handling my business when it comes to school work, but I just can’t focus. Not able to have an easy, light senior year…that could be the problem.
Oddly, my 2 1/2 years at Columbia, I’m finally starting to see cute guys and it’s the semester I’m to graduate. Funny.
That may be enough to get me through my classes and my head into the books. Don’t you think. Well I know I can’t slide off track because every course I’m taking is required for graduation, so I don’t have time to slack. I’ve worked extremely hard to graduate cum laude, but the way I’m feeling I hope I still make it.
Jackson’s been counting down the days until graduation (96) and tomorrow I’m going to make a calander where I can pull off the days one by one until the big day.
May 2011 can’t come soon enough!
