Thanksgiving Reflection: HC Chatham News/Lifestyle Section Editor Gretchen Geibel

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chatham chapter.

My favorite thing about Thanksgiving (although it’s kind of cliché) is being able to come together with all of my family. My parents have upwards of seven siblings each, so get togethers with everyone are hard to come by. Nonetheless, Thanksgiving is the one holiday where both sides of my family are able to come together to share our thanks as well as each other’s company. Having such a large family means that Thanksgivings are always big, loud, and a little crazy…but they’re so much more fun for that reason! Plus, my family always goes to both my mom’s and my dad’s family’s celebrations…and I’m never going to complain about getting two Thanksgiving dinners!
