Hometown: Dayton, Ohio
Major: Environmental Geology
Class Year: 2013
After visiting Boston over the summer, this week’s campus cutie fell in love with the cannolis at his favorite restaurant, Modern Pastry. When at Bucknell, however, you’ll probably find him at his favorite hangout: the Davis Gym.
The Basics:
Favorite Book: Where Men Win Glory by John Krakauer
Favorite Movie: 180 Degrees South
Favorite store: Cabella’s because it is the closest thing I get to a religious experience once a year.
Most played song on your ipod: The Cave by Mumford and Sons
Favorite Class at Bucknell: Environmental Studies classes taught by Amanda Wooden. I always thought she should be working for the White House or heading the EPA.
Favorite aspect of Bucknell: I like the professors and I like the students, so the people. Also, you can see mountains from the quad.
Campus Activities: I am on the club cycling team, Students Helping Animals (where people walk dogs). I used to work at the Climbing Wall, but now I just visit on occasion. I am a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity. I also TA for 100 level geology classes because they are relatively fun, easy to teach, and there are a load of fun field trips. I also participate in IM sports, if I have a ride.
Campus Posse: The other geology students. We share the same kind of weird interests and weird sense of humor.
General Interests: Outside of Bucknell, I like to do outdoor things: skiing, fly fishing, play sports, etc. I like to read.
Little Known Fact: I know how to throw a lasso pretty well because I was born in Texas. I guess its just in my blood.
Girls, Girls, Girls:
Relationship Status: Single
What you look for in a girl: Cute, Clever, and concerned with more than herself. I also like flaws; I think perfection is shallow. I think we are attracted to flaws.
Female turnoff: Lack of Confidence in your own decisions and actions.
Celebrity Crush: Lindsay Lohan
The Best of the Rest:
