Temperatures are dropping, leaves are falling, sweaters are being pulled out from the backs of our closets, it is clear to see that fall is upon us and summer has come to a close. But with the end of beach season comes a beautiful thing: pumpkin season. Pumpkin is the ultimate comfort food during this time of year. And I know I am not alone when I say that I adore everything the pumpkin has to offer: pumpkin picking, pumpkin pie, and of course the all-time favorite, Pumpkin Spice Latte.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte has been around for quite a while now. This leaves me to wonder if it’s losing some of its “spice”, so to speak: Is it so overdone that it isn’t exciting anymore? Well pumpkin lovers, fear no more! I refuse to let the comforting flavor of pumpkin spice become anything but an exciting sign that fall has officially arrived.
