Senior Bucket List: Spring Semester

Last semester I was in constant denial that I would be graduating within the year. Now that I’m back on campus and well into second semester, reality has set in.
I have three months until I am officially no longer a student and catapulted into the real world.
 
Despite my apprehension, I decided to take these months as an opportunity to do all of the things I have wanted to do as an undergrad but never got around to. There are so many things the Main Line and the city of Philadelphia have to offer, but I never took advantage of them. So, I got down to business and crafted this bucket list. It is by no means complete, so I encourage any readers to please comment and add your own ideas. If you’re way ahead of me and have done some of these things, post your personal opinions about your experiences.
 
I hope this bucket list will remind you of good times while at Bryn Mawr, give you new ideas of things to do and places to explore, or motivate you to get busy and explore the region before you grab that diploma in May.
 
1)      Eat the best macaroni & cheese in the country at Delilah at the Terminal Market
2)      Go to Parc Restaurant on Rittenhouse Square for wine and cheese
3)      Visit the Mutter museum
4)      Go to Amish Country
5)      Sake bombing
6)      Bus Tour of Philadelphia
7)      Philadelphia Chinatown for Dim Sum
8)      First Fridays
9)      Independence National Historic Park
10)  Cleopatra Exhibit at the Franklin Institute
11)  Northern Liberties for vintage shopping, pizza, and chill bars. Also scope out the Russian neighborhood area of Bustleton.
12)  Check out cafes in South Philly
13)  Explore Manayunk: including taverns, bars, concerts, and dining specials second Saturday of every month starting in April
14)  Visit The Barnes foundation in Merion before it moves to Philadelphia
15)  Secrets of the Silk Road Exhibit at The Penn Museum
16)  Spend the afternoon at Longwood Gardens, maybe with a picnic
17)  Go on a ghost tour of Philly
18)  Check out some of Philly’s organic restaurants like Fork, Bistro, Pumpkin, Square 1682, and Supper
19)  Get drinks at the White Dog Café
20)  Go bowling at Lucky Strikes
21)  Fist pump in Atlantic City
22)  Mini Golf
23)  Critique the top 5 Philly cheese steak sandwich places in the city
24)  Go to a NASCAR race
25)  Ice skate at Penn’s Landing
26)  See a ballet
27)  Movie Monday at the Trocadero in Chinatown
28)  Go to the Jewish Film Festival
