Fall TV Preview: What We’re Watching!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Although the weather might be deceiving, fall is in full swing. What is the best thing about fall? The fall premiere of your favorite TV shows, of course!

This year’s line-up has shined at its finest with so many great new shows and the returns of my old favorites. I only wish there was enough time in the week to catch them all.

Here is my fall television preview:

1.    Revenge
Wednesdays at 10pm, ABC

Love this show! Only three episodes in and I am already hooked.

The setting is a glamorous beach town on the Hamptons. One girl is on the prowl to get revenge on all of the rich people that ruined her dad’s life and falsely accused him of a major crime he didn’t commit. There is romance, drama, glamorous parties and violence. It’s Pretty Little Liars meets the OC.

2.     Pan Am
Sundays at 10pm, ABC

I am a big fan of “Catch Me If You Can” and was extremely excited when I first saw a commercial for this show.

It’s all about the lives of Pan Am stewardesses, who were high in demand in the 1960s when the show is set. It explores the freedom these women felt when being able to fly all around the world, and the strict rules they had to abide by to get these freedoms. There have been many surprising twists in this show already and I look forward to seeing how this season plans out. Definitely worth watching!

3.    Modern Family
Wednesdays at 9pm, ABC

Modern Family is one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. Each season it gets better and better, and I am already in love with the third season. The family always manages to get  into ridiculous situations. Gloria is funnier than ever and now even baby Lily can speak and cause more havoc for Mitchell and Cameron. Everyone should start watching this show now. Like right now!

4.    Glee
Tuesdays at 8pm, FOX

I am a huge Glee fan and am happy that this show is back for another season. I can’t wait to see all the winners from “The Glee Project” appear on the show and how things will play out this year in McKinley High. The music selection so far has been amazing and this show always leaves me in a good mood. I am a total Gleek all the way. It makes me laugh and has me singing. What could be better?

5.    X Factor
Wednesdays at 8pm, FOX

Personally, I am a huge fan of talent competitions. I do not have a particular talent, but I love watching others have their dreams come true. It is very inspirational. This show is a great distraction for when avoiding anything productive and just wanting to sit around and relax with friends. The singers this season are phenomenal and the audition rounds were hilarious. It’s worth watching even if you aren’t too into singing competition shows.

These are some of my fall favorites, but there are so many other good shows to watch this fall season, like Hart of Dixie, New Girl, Person of Interest, Whitney, Gossip Girl, and Once Upon a Time. Although I haven’t seen these shows yet, they seem really good and are worth looking out for!
