  1. Known for movies set in Boston such as The Town, Good Will Hunting and Gone Baby Gone, this Cambridge-bred boy has another script set for a movie about Whitey Bulger in the works. He has even been quoted saying,”When I grew up, there was really the sense of ‘Why would you want to live anywhere else?’”
  2. “Boston is actually the capital of the world, you didn’t know that? We breed smart-a**, quippy, funny people. Not that I’m one of them, I just sorta sneaked in under the radar.” I would beg to differ because I find this former Newton resident and The Officer co-star to crack a few good jokes.
  3. This Boston boy shows his pride not only in movies such as Ted, The Fighter and The Town, but he also opened up a burger restaurant in his hometown Hingham, MA back in 2011 named “Wahlburgers.” (hint hint)
  4. Allston-native rocker greeted an audience to ersomith concert back in November 2012 by saying, “Hi Mom, I’m home!”
  5. Actor in movies like The Avengers and Captain America, this piece of eye candy from Sudbury, MA is a huge Celtics and Pats fan!
  6. He may have acted as a janitor at Harvard in Good Will Hunting, but this stud had actual study time as a student at the acclaimed university prior to his fame! This guy is close friends with another Boston boy since their high school days in Cambridge.
  7. Another funny man who is alum of The Office, this Concord, MA native purchased the nearby Marshfield General Store in 2009 in an effort to maintain his local ties. He hopes to get as involved as time permits, so who knows you ay see this 40 Year Old Virgin stocking shelves!
  8. Guess people were wrong when they said “You will never make it with your funny Boston accent” to this daytime Emmy-winning host of The View.
  9. Funny and smart, this tv host graduated Harvard, after growing up in Brookline, magna cum laude with a degree in history and literature after writing for the school’s humor magazine.
  10. She may not work at MGH but this tv doctor grew up in Everett, MA. Ironically, although she met her music producer husband while grocery shopping in LA, they actually grew up 10 minutes apart from each other.
  11. Best known as Dr. Kimberly Shaw on Melrose Place and as Bree Van de Kamp on Desperate Housewives, this married mom of twins attended Marlborough High School and received a scholarship to New York City’s prestigious Juilliard after graduation.
  12. This NBC funnyman recollects having a “terrific childhood” in Andover, a town 40 minutes outside of Boston, where he flipped burgers at a local McDonalds.
  13. Although she never caught the accent, this funny girl from Cambridge admits to saying “wicked’ a lot and thinks that the accent is quite sexy.
  14. This Lexington, MA native and graduate of Dartmouth college brought her “hood” to the map on Saturday Night Live through her role as Boston teen Denise.
  15. This one BETTER be a “gimme.” This Burlington native first got involved in sketch comedy durig her years here at BC in comedy group “My Mother’s Flea Bag.” Needless to say she made herself known after that through her fame on Saturday Night Live and then Parks and Recreation.
  16. Graduate of Medford High in 1996 and then Emerson College in Boston, this Extra TV personality still loves so many things about Boston such as her beloved sports teams and more importantly Regina Pizzeria!
  17. Another Newton native, this avid Sox fan attended all-boys St. Sebastian’s school before claiming in fame in the TV series Mad Men.
  18. Native of Haverhill, MA the host of Dancing with the Stars was the youngest DJ to host a show on the local radio WHAV and is now a member of the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
  19. Before she proclaimed “May the odds be ever in your favor”, this actress grew up playing baseball, riding horses and being a member of the Massachusetts Junior Classical League in Pittsfield, MA where she graduated from Pittsfield High School.
  20. Born in Boston, this American singer and songwriter known for her disco hits in the 1970’s grew up in the neighborhood of Mission Hill where her mom was a schoolteacher and her dad was a butcher. Her first performance was in a church in the Boston area when she was 7 and she attended Boston’s Jeremiah E. Caitlin is currently a student at Boston College studying English and Pre-Law.  At BC, she is a member of the Boston College Irish Dance Club, on the Honors Program Student Executive Board's Community Service Committee, and interns and writes for the fashion and culture blog Rusted Revolution.  She has been wriring for Her Campus BC since Jaunary 2011 and is serving as BC's Campus Correspondent for the 2012-2013 school year.  Outside of school, she is a competitive Irish dancer, and has been dancing for 18 years.
