December might just be the greatest time of year. While the weeks leading up to Christmas might be filled with exam stress, they are also filled with holiday baking, Starbucks holiday drinks, Christmas lights, carols, and endless hours spent watching classic holiday movies. Students are able to shake off the cold New England weather by donning cute winter accessories and embracing the holiday spirit that seems to invade campus.
Because we are such huge fans of the holiday season here at Her Campus BC, we decided to give you a holiday edition of our Pinterest finds of the week. So grab some hot cocoa, put on those Christmas tunes, and enjoy some Pinterest holiday fun!
Elf-isms: Christmas would not be complete without multiple viewings of the movie Elf. It is hard to imagine the holiday season without people quoting Buddy the Elf. And how would we exist without knowing the four main food groups: candy corn, candy canes, candy corns and syrup?
His/Her Gift Ideas: It is hard to think of clever gift ideas amidst the chaos of final exams and final papers. After scouring the holiday Pinterest boards, we found two excellent options. For your guy – why not make him some Rein-beer? And for your girls – manicures in a jar are an easy and affordable way to let them know you love them!
Festive Puppies: If you haven’t figured it out by now, we are suckers for puppies at HC BC. Honestly there is nothing cuter than dogs donning festive Christmas attire.
Holiday Baking: One of the best parts about the holiday season is having an excuse to bake. Between holiday parties, family get-togethers, and homemade gifts, there is always a reason to fire up that oven and make some cookies. If you feeling like trying your hand at something new, how about making these adorable snowman and reindeer treats?
Just Because: These don’t really fit into any category of holiday cheer -they are just fabulous in themselves. A very merry Disney Christmas is sure to put a smile on your face, and who doesn’t love an adorable snowman tutu?
