How to be a Coachella cutie

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Arizona chapter.

Coachella is all about having fun with friends and enjoying the awesome lineup of bands. Looking your absolute best is definitely part of the music festival experience as well because you never know who’s eye you might catch. If you come across that moment while packing where you completely lack outfit inspiration– Do not worry, I have a few outfit ideas that are sure to spark a little style inspiration.

Tribal print is a must when choosing pieces for Coachella. I chose this tribal print tank by Elodie from Nordstrom ($28, shop.nordstrom.com). This tank is super cute and looks great paired with some light wash denim shorts. It definitely gives you that cool music festival style without being over the top.

Printed skirts are another must-have item. I am obsessed with teal or any color similar to teal, so I chose this print skater skirt by Lily White from Nordstrom ($28, shop.nordstrom.com). This skirt is an ideal piece for Coachella because it is made out of cotton, which means it is super comfy for a long day. Pair it up with a crop top or a black tank tucked into the skirt.

Boho style is timeless when it comes the music festival experience.Urban Outfitters carries an amazing strapless boho print maxi dress by Angie ($59, www.urbanoutfitters.com). I love the coral tones mixed with the boho print because it gives off a carefree hippie chick vibe. You’ll look great while rocking this dress.

A soft and cute flowy top looks great paired with light wash shorts. My pick is Free People’s Sweetart Boxy Top ($88, www.freepeople.com). The print is simple, but I feel the light peach color gives it a vintage hippie feel.
