Why did you choose your major? “I’ve always been interested in Marketing because my dad worked in Marketing. I was the President of DECA in high school and it has always been a passion of mine.”
What was the process of applying for the Disney College Program like? “The process was pretty crazy. You have to complete an application, a web based interview and a phone interview. Thankfully, 2 of my sorority sisters applied as well so I was able to stress about it with them.”
What was participating in DCP like? “Participating in the Disney College Program was really eye opening. I got to work with lots of different people from all over the world. I also got to see the behind-the-scenes of one of the biggest companies in the world. My favorite part about the program was making magic for families everyday. One of my favorite memories was meeting a family from Tuscaloosa and letting the children try every single flavor of Goofy Glaciers (they’re like ICEEs but with pixie dust). They were so excited that they ended up coming back the next day and watching us make Caramel Apples.”
What’s it like having your own small business? “Owning my small business (Lucy’s Vinyl Decals on Etsy) is so great. I’ve learned so much about customer service, marketing and general business skills. Sadly, I’ve had to temporarily close my shop due to the Disney College Program but I hope to reopen it this summer.”
Who is your favorite Disney princess/character? “My favorite character is Mickey Mouse. He is the original and is the face of Disney which is why I love him.”
What is your favorite part about being in a sorority? “My favorite part about being in Sigma Delta Tau is the sisterhood that comes with it. I had the privilege to serve as our chapter’s Sisterhood Chair and I got to plan lots of sisterhood bonding events including a Fall Retreat, a Disney on Ice trip and lots of sisterhood movie nights. I know that I always have a sister to lean on and to talk to. I’m so excited that 2 of my sisters joined me in the Disney College Program. Sigma Delta Tau is around for every part of my life, including this one.”
Who is your celebrity crush? “Right now, Eddie Redmayne. But it changes quite often.”
Describe your dream date. “My dream date would probably be a day at the Magic Kingdom. We’d run around on all the rides, take cheesy pictures in front of the castle and then finish the night under the fireworks.”

What is the best concert you’ve even gone to? “Ed Sheeran. I got to see him at Madison Square Garden and sit in the front row. He was magical and Taylor Swift came out. Even my dad says that it was the best concert he’s ever seen.”
What do you like to do in your free time? “I like to craft, watch Netflix and Youtube videos (mostly Buzzfeed and Ellen), bake and cook!”
