Something powerful and unique about the Her Campus network is the opportunity it gives us to easily gather data from thousands of college women about how you feel about important issues in our society. We feel lucky to be in a position to be able to collect and analyze that information and then share it with all of you to shed some light on the “current state”, if you will, of college women worldwide.

Earlier this year, we conducted HC’s Feminism on Campus Survey 2015, to understand your take on feminism, women in politics, women in the workforce and all sorts of hot-button issues surrounding these themes. The results were eye- opening, and we are pleased to now present the results of this survey in three installments: Feminism on Campus; Politics on Campus; and Views on the Workforce on Campus. We hope these results will foster productive dialogue on these critical topics, and we hope that Her Campus can serve as a platform to further such discussion.

Who we surveyed:
We surveyed 3,135 college women age 17-23 representing all regions of the United States, with 11% of respondents attending college internationally. Respondents’ average age was 19.5 years old, and 55.1% attend a public college or university, 41.2% attend a private college or university, and 3.2% attend a community college.
