It’s been 12 years since Princess Diaries 2 came out, and we’ve been hardcore missing Genovia since then. But we have the best proof yet that Princess Diaries 3 is really going to happen!
When E! News asked Garry Marshall—who directed the first two films in the series—about PD3 in a recent interview, Marshall had this to say: “Disney is quite powerful so they said they would like to announce it, not me, but we are talking.” In saying that, he basically did announce it. Which means we’re (maybe, probably, definitely) getting another Princess Diaries movie!
Now, we’re just crossing our fingers that Anne Hathaway, Julie Andrews and Chris Pine return for the film. Hathaway and Pine have already expressed interest, so it’s just a matter of time, right?
