I attended yesterday’s show at STYLE360 New York Fashion Week and am so excited to report back to my favorite fashionistas.
Like any episode of the MTV hit, Sammi Sweetheart’s fashion show was an experience. From a makeover station to a special performance by Tyler Reid and Stevie G., the venue was like a club on the show. Well, minus the drama and frosted tips.
Speaking of the show’s infamous cast, Ronnie Oritz- Margo sat front row alongside The Cheetah Girls‘ Adrienne Balion. I’m not going to lie — I was a little starstruck.
The collection was everything you’d expect: fitness apparel that commands attention. Between the tight yoga pants and revealing sports bras, these are clothes you shouldn’t wear to the gym if you plan on being a wallflower. But since you secretly hope that the whole basketball team is checking you out, this isn’t an issue. If you don’t want to show off your stomach as you complete your eight minute abs- I definitely don’t blame you- Sammi Sweetheart’s collection has several camisoles and hoodies to choose from. With two hearts on every piece, Giancola gave the collection a “sweet” finishing touch.
Between Snooki’s shoe line (who knew) and Giancola’s runway debut, maybe they should change G.T.L. to G.T.S. — gym, tan, shop!
