LookFlix: The Wardrobe of the Future

As any nineties child will tell you, Clueless’ Cher is the envy of anyone who ever had a VHS player. While her ultra retro phrases are to die for, Cher’s closet gave us high hopes for the future of our very own wardrobes. I don’t mean to complain, but I’m still waiting for a computer that doubles as a personal stylist. Fortunately, we now have something similar to that coveted wardrobe that also fuels our shopping problem. Fashionistas, I give you LookFlix.

Think of LookFlix as the brainchild of Cher’s closet and your favorite online store. The beta website allows you to mix and match a slew of shirts, pants, skirts, and shoes in order to assemble some awesome outfits. Create a lookbook of your favorite ensembles by clicking the camera button. Refine your search by a selecting specific labels, colors, and price points. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t spend a very long time on this site last night…

After looking through an array of awesome pieces – I forgot to mention that LookFlix showcases collegiette-approved brands such as J.Crew, Nasty Gal, and Aldo – you may find yourself needing the look you just created. Not wanting — needing. Lucky for you, obtaining that major skirt is just a few clicks away. If you’re completely gaga for a product on LookFlix, simply click on the image for more information as well as an opportunity to visit the company’s online store. The rest will be history.

Once you have an impressive lookbook, share it with your friends on Facebook and Pinterest. Let’s be honest: you’re secretly dying to know what they think of that sequined top. Better yet, have your friends create a LookFlix account. That way, you can all swap style tips!
