London Fashion Week: Burberry Live Stream Review

Somewhere in London on February 20th, guests began taking their seats at the Burberry Prorsum fashion show (Mario Testino, Kate Bosworth, and Clemence Poesy, just to name a few). At the same time, I was settling into my armchair, computer on my lap, getting ready to watch the exact same show. This, collegiettes, is the beauty of live stream.
 
Right on time, the show started with a quick pan to the audience members before the first look appeared on the runway. The music, camera angles, and, of course, the stunning clothing made it something inspiring to watch. Even though I couldn’t view the collection in person, many of the details were still very visible (thank you high definition quality!) and it was easy to see how the clothes moved as the models walked. Entitled ‘Town and Field’, this collection seemed simplistic and rural with the colors yet modern through the shapes and silhouettes. My favorite part had to be the bow belts used throughout the collection.
 
Not to give anything away, but the finale was exceptionally beautiful with thunder rumbling, water streaming down the sides of the see-through tent, and the models walking out holding umbrellas amidst silver confetti raining down.
