Two things all makeup fanatics love? Jaclyn Hill—beauty blogger, Youtube royalty and probably your best bet for finally learning how to do a smokey eye—and Morphe Brushes, a brand that is just as renowned for its affordable prices as it is for its high quality. So what would make any beauty addict swoon? A collaboration between the two!
On January 20, Hill announced via Instagram that she has been working with Morphe Creative Director Linda Tawil to create the palette of her (and our!) dreams. "I was SO picky with the pigmentation, application & blend-ability," Jaclyn says. "Our goal was to create something high quality with an affordable price.”
#MorpheXJaclynHill I have worked hand in hand with @linda_morphe perfecting my dream palette for my loving subscribers. Linda gave me complete control & I was SO picky with the pigmentation, application & blend-ability. Our goal was to create something high quality with an affordable price. After two years we feel we mastered it. Coming in March
This isn’t the first time that Jaclyn and Morphe have worked together. In 2014, Morphe released the Jaclyn Hill Favorites palette, and the vlogger hasn’t stopped since. She recently teamed up with Becca Cosmetics to create the Champagne Pop collection, and has also announced that she is planning to release her own makeup collection sometime this year. It seems like any product that the guru touches instantly becomes (sold-out) gold. Glamour reports that the Morphe gem-encrusted brush set, That Bling Set (Morphe, $100), sold out instantaneously after Jaclyn posted a photo of the gorgeous, sparkly #BrushGoals on her Instagram just after New Year’s 2016.
The secret to Jaclyn's success? She’s nothing short of a perfectionist. She revealed on her Snapchat that she has been working on her upcoming palette since February 2015. Her goal was to design something that was "everything you need in one palette,” that was also universally flattering on all skin tones. She went on to explain that she even resubmitted some of the colors over 30 times, to get them just right. Excited yet? Luckily, Jaclyn decided to give her excited fans a sneak peak of the palette.
The palette, and these stunning colors, will be released in March 2017, but we don't have the exact date yet. For now, consider holding off buying any palettes for the next few months, because it looks like this one might just fulfill all of your eyeshadow needs.
