Easy, Breezy, Beautiful Fingernails
I hope you’ve had a chance to hop over to our Facebook page and check out some of the photos from our Ultra Holiday party. The party was, in a word, phenom. Intel sponsored a hilarious series of Security Shaming signs (see here), Pinkberry released their new gingerbread flavor at the party and let our guests sample it for free, Alex & Ani gifted every college girl with a free bangle, and MiniLuxe (our favorite local nail salon) was there giving out free mini manis. If this sounds like an awesome party it’s because it WAS an awesome party. It also took a lot of time and a lot of organization to pull it off. While I was busy organizing sponsors, collecting registrations and communicating with the venue, going to get my nails done was the last thing on my mind. Luckily, I had my trusty COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss by my side.
Last week, I wrote a post about testing out the new COVERGIRL Nail Gloss and absolutely loving it. It goes on smoothly and evenly and if you’re in a rush you can even get away with a single coat. The best thing about it is that there’s no topcoat required so it cuts your nail drying time down drastically!
As I said before, jewel tones are always in for the holiday season so I decided to go with “Forever Festive,” a ruby red with a little bit of shimmer. I also painted my ring fingers in “Golden Opportunity,” a complementary hue with lots of holiday sparkle.
My nails held up great throughout the party and in the days before and after. When they say easy, breezy and beautiful they aren’t joking. Three cheers for COVERGIRL!
