4 Summer Manicure/Pedicure Ideas To Try

If you’re tired of the same old mani/pedi, then you should definitely try these new summer looks for your nails! Some of them are whacky, some of them are classy, but all of them are fun for the summertime!

1. Multicolored Polka Dot Nails

This look is very festive! Apply white nail polish to your fingernails and toe nails. After it dries, carefully dot with different color nail polishes. You can use whatever color combos you want. Let dry and add a top coat to preserve the look. TRY: Essie Blanc, $8; Sally Girl Mini Nail Polish, various colors, $0.59

2. Teal with Gold Sparkles

Your nails can mimic the ocean with this look! Choose a teal nail color, apply and let dry. Then add sparkly gold polish to your tips. TRY: Milani Neon Nail Lacquer, Fresh Teal 504, $4.49; Sephora by OPI Jewelry Top Coats, I Found A Pot of Gold!, $9.50

3. Summer Watermelons

Summertime means watermelon! Apply a juicy red, like a watermelon shade or a candy apple to your nails. Dot black polish for the seeds, and apply a green shade to your tips. Then use a shine-enhancing top coat for a juicy fruit effect. TRY: Essie Watermelon, $8; Sally Hansen Diamond Black Tie, $3.99; Zoya Green Nail Polish, Tangy Green, $8; Sephora Collection Mirror Shine Top Coat, $6

4. Glittery Ombre

Outshine the sun with this bright nail color idea! Do a reverse manicure by applying an citrusy orange shade at the top of the nail bed and gently stroke the color down. Then add a neon pink and blur the edges where they meet. For some added fun, use a gold glitter top coat on the tips of your nails! TRY: China Glaze Nail Lacquer, Neon Orange Knockout, $6.79; OPI Strawberry Margarita, $7.32
