Celebrating After Finals


It's the end of the semester, finals are almost over and  it's time to celebrate. Everyone knows of the highly publicized and retweeted club parties, but if you're a part of the struggling college students who can barely afford groceries. Also, despite what the club promoters want you to believe, the expensive club prices aren't in your budget. So here are some alternatives that will allow you to celebrate and rid yourself of the end of the semester stress while still on a budget. Here are five FREE events that will get you started.

1.     If you want to relax and enjoy live music performances check out the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Take Five’ jazz performances every third Thursday of the month. This is an outdoor event and a fun date idea.
2.     If stage plays and acting peek your interest be sure to attend The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage shows. Every day at 6pm they host free plays from groups all over the area. This is a free event and tickets can be picked up 30 minutes before showing begins.

3.     Want to relive your childhood? Take a trip to the National Zoo at Woodley Park. Enjoy seeing all the exotic animals at your leisure.

 The end of the semester has arrived and this can be a very stressful time. It is important to know the most effective ways to study and pass any exam with flying colors. Try these tips to help with your study sessions!
