The White Panda 3/19/2012	The White Panda formed when two boyhood friends discovered they had independently embarked on mashup careers in college. Chicago-based Procrast (Tom Evans) first blended Rick Astley snippets with 2 Live Crew grooves as a way to avoid productive activity in 2008, while DJ Griffi (Dan Griffith) embarked on the same mission, for a similar purpose, in L.A. Their combined effort, the White Panda, launched in 2009 with a single that topped internet radio charts days later. Come out to see them at Segredo Friday. Tickets range from $10 - $12.
Youngblood Blood Drive 3/19/2012	Come to Union South this Thursday to give back! One blood donation helps up to three people. Walk-ins are welcome, or make appointments at 1-800-REDCROSS or http://www.givebloodgivelife.org. A donor card or photo ID is required. Must be over 17 years and 110 pounds.

Madewell Trunk Sale 2/28/2012	Madewell is hosting a Trunk Sale on Saturday, March 3, from 2-5 p.m. at the Alpha Chi Omega house (152 Langdon Street). There will be a wide variety of Madewell clothing and shoes there, including a lot of great spring break stuff! The event is free, and there will be free food and drinks. Conceived in 2008, the duo found their niche and created a name for themselves in the electronic music scene by combining vibrant jazz melodies over pulsating dance beats.

Brad Paisley @ The Alliant Center 2/20/2012	Listen to country star Brad Paisley and up-and-comers The Band Perry at The Alliant Energy Center. Tickets are $25-$60.Brad Paisley is the reigning Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year, and has won 14 CMA awards over the span of his career which started at age 13 when he was a regular on the famed Jamboree USA show. Brad just released his ninth studio album titled “This Is Country Music” where you can hear some of the best country music ever recorded, from George Jones to Johnny Cash. Along with Brad Paisley, you can also see the up and coming The Band Perry, whose song “If I Die Young” is topping the charts and has also been nominated for five Country Music Awards.
