Lose the Freshman 15: Work out in Style!

Hey collegiettes!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  I started both my Saturday and Sunday morning off with a 3-mile run– perfect way to start the day off (hopefully I got a little color too)!  I know I’ve already raved about the benefits of running in previous posts, but another perk is all the cute workout gear!

TOPS

I love this tank top from New Balance!  As someone who sweats a ton during workouts, the very light material helps keep me cool.  Plus the longer length in combination with the shaped hem definitely makes running a breeze!  It comes in four awesome colors, but I personally like the hot pink.

I also love this T-shirt by Under Armour.  Usually, I just wear like to wear a regular 100% cotton T-shirt that I’ve collected over the years from old tournaments, college visits, etc., but this fabric is great because not only does it keep me dry, but it also has anti-odor technology.

BOTTOMS

My all-time favorite running shorts are Nike Tempo Track shorts.  I LOVE THESE SHORTS and probably own over ten pairs!  They come in a wide variety of designs (solid colors and prints) that are updated seasonally every year, so you can never own them all!  The length of these shorts is perfect, and the built in Dri-FIT briefs and breathable mesh on the sides definitely help you stay dry and cool!

I also love these shorts from New Balance that are little bit of a tighter fit than the Tempo shorts, in addition to these shorts from lululemon that are more of a looser fit compared to the Tempo shorts.  One of the fabulous features in both of these shorts is the zippered pocket!  I generally don’t mind holding my phone or iPod while on a run, but in college, I always need to have my ID and key on me to get into buildings, so I definitely make use of the pocket.

Now go sweat in style and keep up the good work!

Until Wednesday

xoxo
