Lose the Freshman 15: The Rebecca Black incentive to never skip workouts

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

Yesterday was Friday and the end of one of the longest and sleepless weeks of my life. And as you probably dailylog31caught on while reading this week, I did not work out as much as I usually do.

I also didn’t get half as much sleep as a normal person should. I think if you look up “zombie” in the dictionary, my picture would be right next to it.  Right when I got home, I took a nap for the first time in forever. After learning that not sleeping can be counter-productive in a weight-loss scenario, I didn’t want to take any chances. However, when I awoke from my overdue slumber, I knew I had to get off my booty and burn some calories.

I decided I needed some sort of incentive or slap on the wrist to get going again, so after sitting through a four hour work shift where everyone was non-stop talking about Rebecca Black’s now famous “Friday” song  (I work in a writing center so we were singing about how grammatically incorrect it is), I got an idea.

I will torture myself with Rebecca Black until I learn my lesson about missing workouts. In fact, any time I do less than the workouts I’m supposed to do without a good reason, I will do Jillian Michael’s cardio sizzler (with some random fun embellishments) to “Friday.”

If you like to watch dorky people torture themselves, then you should check out my video.

So as you can see, at the end of an exhausting and stressful week, I totally got down on Friday. I’m sure Rebecca Black would be proud.
