OPI’s Texas Collection–Bold Texas Colors, Sheer Summer Finish

This September, runways rocked with bold colors and breezy fabrics, two of the key trends for the upcoming season.  OPI has beautifully incorporated both into their new spring line inspired by the Lone Star State.  Covering a spectrum of tangy corals that could have been plucked from any well-seasoned Dallasite’s lipstick collection, the Texas Collection is sure to compliment this summer’s hot color trends and pop against whites and beiges—white is the new black, after all.

And if the collection doesn’t already have you yearning for sangria and sunshine, OPI has integrated a brand-new summertime element into their polishes: the Sorbet Effect.  Engineered to maintain mouth-watering color while staying slightly sheer like your favorite fruit sorbet, OPI Texas is truly the coolest look for summer.

OPI Artistic Director Suzy Weiss-Fischmann explains how to maximize the Sorbet Effect: “To achieve the desired effect, an initial coat of Nail Lacquer should be applied to all ten fingers first – without doubling up coverage.  Be sure to start from the pinky finger on one hand and paint through to the pinky on the other hand; then, after the first coat has dried, apply a second coat.”

Once again, OPI has delivered an on-trend collection that is creative, playful, and fun to wear. At $8.50 apiece for colors like Austin-tatious Turquoise, It’s Totally Fort Worth It to invest in some Texas style.
