New Bra Only Unhooks if You’re in Love!

This just in, ladies! For those of you who are nervous about hooking up with someone who may not be “the one”, Japanese company Ravijour is claiming to have created a bra that unclasps only when you’re in love. This seems like a bold claim, right?

Here’s the deal: this supposed “True Love Tester” is connected to your phone through Bluetooth, and tracks your heart rate. Apparently, only heart rates that signify love (whatever that means) will allow the bra to come off. Ravijour claims that it has to do with adrenaline and the nervous system, but we aren’t buying it. The anticipation of a sexual encounter, first of all, is not the only thing that gets a Collegiette’s blood pumping. How about a nice, long run? Or the latest episode of Scandal?? Are our bras going to spontaneously pop open the next time we’re chatting it up with a cute classmate who makes our heart start to pound? In our opinion, if you need a Bluetooth-powered brassiere to keep yourself from going too far with someone, then there are bigger issues in your life that you may want to sort out. Oh, and don’t think the bra’s biggest flaw isn’t lost on us….it doesn’t keep your pants on, which is really what hook-up conscious girls are worried about, right?

The bra isn’t actually on sale yet, but if you’re just dying to get your hands on this “booby trap”, you can enter to win one on Ravijour’s website.

Do you think the True Love Tester is kind of cool or totally cuckoo? Let us know!
