The SCOTUS ruling that finally made gay marriage legal last week couldn’t have come at a better time – with June being the official LGBT Pride Month, tons of major pride events coincided with the ruling, making them some of the most memorable to date. Our favorite part of the celebrations? Seeing the (literal!) rainbow of super fab pride-inspired looks. Keep reading for our favorites from this year’s festivities!
1. Giant stilts
This New York parade attendee definitely had the best seat in the house – and those rainbow suspenders are so on point.
2. It’s so fluffy!
We can’t even guess how long this pom-pom dress and umbrella combo took to make, but we do know that these two San Francisco parade marchers look pretty fab.
3. Bold balloons
These marchers at the San Francisco pride parade took some inspiration from a childhood favorite, but totally took it to the next level – these were not your average balloon animals!
4. Rainbow head
Suddenly the arch shape of a rainbow makes SO much more sense – we love the way this London parade-goer rocked it as a hat!
5. Even the kids joined in!
Proof that good things come in small packages: this 8-year-old’s outfit for the New York City parade, complete with rainbow hair streaks and a multicolored tutu.
6. Rocking the rollerblades
These Seattle pride marchers are definitely on to something – why march in a parade when you can rollerblade?
Will any of you be attending pride celebrations in your city, collegiettes?
