Now, my hair isn’t color treated or lightened but I do use a lot of heat products on it (I’d say I blow dry and straighten it about 4 to 5 days a week). I’ve been testing out this product for a little over a month now, and I am in LOVE! You are to use it about 1 to 2 times a week while you are in the shower. What you do is after you shampoo your hair take about a quarter size amount in the palm of your hand and massage it into your hair, focusing on your ends. Then you leave it in for about 5 minutes. It’s like a mask, for your hair! Then all you have to do is rinse the mask out and continue with your normal hair routine. For me this meant towel drying my hair, then blow-drying it and straightening it.After my hair was completely dry it felt extremely soft and when I straightened my hair, it straightened easier than it ever had before. So, for me not only did this treatment make my hair softer and stronger, it also made my hair routine drop about 5 minutes just because it was so much easier for me to straighten my hair.
One last thing you girls would love about this product – it eliminates frizz! You know those annoying little short pieces of broken hair that sometimes stick off the side of your head?
