Introducing Category 5’s Monogrammed and Custom Boat Shoes

If you pay close attention to campus-wide trends, you’ve probably noticed that boat shoes and monograms are officially in. Undeniably preppy on their own, could you imagine how great these two fads would be togther? Thanks to Category 5, monogrammed boat shoes are a reality.

With the help of Kickstarter, as well as the founders’ insightful girlfriends, the popular boat shoe company expanded their brand to also include a women’s line. Hallelujah! Already a hit in the men’s footwear sector,  Category 5 strives to perfect the typical boat shoe with premium, water resistant leather, slip and mark resistant outsoles, and a sneaker-esque back heel for optimal comfort.

After consulting with hundreds (yes, hundreds) of women, Category 5 offers a comfortable and stylish shoe in feminine colors such as coral, coconut, and mint. From your initials to your sorority’s letters, no pattern is too difficult to embosss. The brand’s customized kicks will set you back 98 dollars (with a 50 dollar one-time fee) while your “off the shelf” shoes are 85 dollars.

With new models, leather bracelets, and tank tops with seer-sucker pockets on the agenda, it’s official: Category 5 is your one-stop shop for all things preppy.
