“I’m wearing Bare Minerals Matte, NARS Matahari blush, and Benefit Hoola bronzer—I love that it’s not shimmery. If I’m only wearing one thing, it’s concealer. The Make Up Forever concealer is great because it has multiple shades, so you can use it all year on blemishes and redness. I’ve tried so many mascaras, and I’m currently using MAC double ended Haught and Naughty—the naughty side.” [Laughs]

“On class days, I stick to Kiehl’s tinted moisturizer, bronzer, and mascara. My goal is flawless skin, not to look made-up. I use Biosilk in my hair and [it] smells so good I put it on my skin instead of perfume. “

“Haircuts are rare, only twice a year because I never really like them. I just recently went darker because I really felt like a change. My hair is super thick and huge before I straighten it, so I straighten first before I wave it. The Bumble and Bumble Styling Spray protects it from heat damage, Moroccanoil and Biosilk make it shiny and smell incredible.”

“Every other night, I’ll put self-tanner on my face, Mystic Tan or Tan Towel Mist because it’s cheaper. I splurge for La Mer Refining Facial Scrub; it makes my skin really, really soft. You only need it once a week so it lasts forever. Mario Badescu Cucumber Tonic Mask works wonders for oily skin, I put it on a couple times a week for 20 minutes. Sometimes I’ll also put on Crest Whitestrips 3D and whiten my teeth.”

“I custom created a scent at Pish Posh Patchouli’s, it’s a lavender and french vanilla blend that reminds me of vacationing in Florida.  Also, I love body sprays for during the day. I’ll wear Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels Heavenly for school by itself, or layer it with Sexy Little Things.  Perfume is the last thing I put on before heading for a night out! I’ll spritz Stella by Stella McCartney on as I’m walking out the door.”

“I like Shellac manicures because regular manicures last for two days—they last for two weeks! My nail color changes every week; I love brights, darks, you name it–but I can’t stand having the same color on for too long.”

“I play a lot with makeup. I get inspired by Jessica Stam, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Anja Rubik, and blogs like Fashion Toast. I’m always changing it up. Lipstick makes me feel beautiful—not that many people wear and it puts your whole look together. But I’m always trying to look nonchalant, like I didn’t try that hard.”

“The overall feel of a photo like this one inspires me. Beauty is being happy, surrounded by the things you enjoy. When I studied in Paris this summer, I was meeting new people and seeing new things. It was easy to be happy.”
